It’s just too, too much. Everyday we are bombarded with stressful information. Information I want to turn from but it is important to my life to know. Covid 19 cases increase, voting the primary run-off, to mask or not to mask, more police brutality, White House, the global news, . The list could go on but as you can see it’s too much for one brain to handle on a daily basis. All of that and family needs have not been addressed.
Being overwhelmed in this confined space on the daily can lead to depression. Don’t let it get to you. Take care of your mental health. Find a way to make the data flow less or slower. Unfortunately it is going to remain too, too much!

Concentrate on what you can control and learn to accept what you cannot. Easy said than done of course!

Much easier said than done. I am not a worrier but there is so much information to process hourly much less daily.

Yes. Sometimes throwing your phone in a locked draw for a day or two can do wonders!

Turn off the information overload and turn to God. I work at a mental hospital. We are full and there is a wait list. Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal ideations, drug and alcohol detox. God protects me as I serve my patients.

Never turned away from God. Some information I need to be aware of because of my husband and daughter’s health and well being. Other things I need to watch to gather the truth because there is so much misinformation. My people perish for lack of knowledge. Because I am aware of the impact on me, i am able to fight the mental health problems it could cause. One of the reasons I wrote the post was to help other people identify what happening to them. Thanks for your comment.
